“My favorite memories revolve around Third Saturday and The Mosaic Center. There is always a sweet spirit when we gather to do mission with folks from different churches, denominations, and organizations within the community. I am grateful to be a part of this ministry and see how God transforms hearts and lives.”

Meet our Mission Partners

At Mosaic, we consider it our job to build followers of Jesus who live their stories — taking the life of Jesus out into the world. Mosaic is a missional community. That means for us, all people matter, and loving people is central to who we are. Not just our people … all people. We are especially good at loving people in the margins and being friends with those who might not fit in more traditional churches.

The least, the last and the lost … that’s our charge, our passion and our vision. Because everyone has a story to tell, and all people matter.

  • TMS-Global
The mission of TMS Global is to  “share the love and message of Jesus cross-culturally and equip Christ followers to better engage their neighbors. For almost 40 years, TMS Global has trained, mobilized, and served hundreds of cross-cultural workers. Currently, approximately 150 workers serve in 39 nations around the world. Thousands of people have been introduced to Jesus and discipled in their faith. Churches in the US and abroad have embraced God’s plan for their congregations and reached out to their communities, nation, and the world with the hope of Christ. We can help you find your place in Jesus’’ mission to the world. That’s why we exist.” (find out more at https://www.tms-global.org/)We also support Jungle Kids for Christ, where the Fosters serve as TMS Global cross-cultural workers through TMS Global.
  • Greenlight
Greenlight Is a ministry of TMS Global that gives young adults the opportunity to experience ministry and explore calling in a cross-cultural setting. We at Mosaic have sent a missionary-in-the-making through the Greenlight program so we have first-hand experience of how it can work to shape a life and a calling.
  • Jungle Kids for Christ
The mission of Jungle Kids for Christ is to empower children of the jungle so that they can break the cycle of poverty and abuse and share that message of transformation with their family, community, country and world. Tyler and Kaylan Foster are TMS Global missionaries who serve in Ecuador through Jungle Kids for Christ, and one of their areas of focus is helping short-term mission teams experience Jesus in the jungle (that’s how we found them!). Rich Zuch serves together with his family as a grant writer and ministry ambassador for JKFC and is our contact with JKC.  Visit their website at https://www.junglekidsforchrist.org/

From Rich Zuch (JKFC missionary): “The impact we have seen so far is that there are 300+ children and their families that are hearing the gospel on a regular basis. We have stories of kids being saved and sharing their faith with their parents. There are many spiritual strongholds in this area, many communities that have never been impacted by the gospel. And whether through willful sinfulness, shamanism, ignorance, or a lack of education, there is a darkness that is present, but that is being pushed back. I believe Jesus taught us that the kingdom of Heaven started with him and will go on into eternity. Our hope is that we can be used to bring the kingdom of heaven to this entire region of Ecuador.”

From Tyler Foster: “We have seen lives and families changed for the hope that is given through the empowerment and education received by the ministry. Families are coming closer together, learning about the Lord and coming to faith. Students are learning math, English, and the Gospel to then take what they have learned and translate in a medical mission context or to go to the US for university or top universities in Ecuador. Spiritual darkness is coming into the light as more prayer and the Holy Spirit comes into the lives of kids and their families.”

  • Venezuela Now
Venezuela Now has one simple mission and that is Venezuela for Christ, and their work is to support the church in Venezuela as its people share the transforming love of Christ. Warren and Jane Lathem, founders of Venezuela Now, are our representatives for this vital ministry. Their programs include Church Planting, Leadership Development, Seminary Education, Medical Services, and Food Ministries. Venezuela Now provides training for pastors, medical care for communities, and hope for a county desperately seeking its own freedom from severe physical and spiritual poverty. And they are making a difference! In 1998, 2% of the population in Venezuela was Evangelical (Protestant). Today, it is 25-30%. Find out more at https://venezuelanow.org/
  • Global Hope Partners
Each of Global Hope Partners’ ministry programs in South Asia is designed to address a specific need in an environment that is less than 4% Christian, where believers face daily persecution for their faith, and over 400 million people have never heard the Good News of life in Jesus. This ministry seeks to reach the unreached in South Asia by meeting both their spiritual and physical needs, training and encouraging them to become independent kingdom-expanders.

From the Director of GHP: “We thank God that despite the challenges of gathering restrictions and persecution, in 2022, Global Hope Partners directly impacted the lives of over 28,000 people in South Asia. 2022 and 2023 have been growth years for GHP, as we have transitioned to the new ministry organization, developed and established new curriculum to address current needs in the South Asian context, and seen the demand for the impact of these new programs expand for the glory of God.”

  • UGA Wesley Foundation

From Bob Beckwith (director): “We currently reach about 900 students through our Wesley and Freshley services. About 450 students are discipled weekly and about 400 students are attending a small group each week.”
  • UGA Wesley’s Cuba Mission Project
The mission of those involved with this ministry is “to pray for and encourage the pastors and missionaries of the Methodist Church in Cuba and bless them financially any way we can.” In the last twenty years, the Methodist Church in Cuba has grown exponentially. Because of the support and training they are receiving from the global Body of Christ, pastors and missionaries are encouraged to continue the vital ministry to which they have been called
  • The Mosaic Center
The Mosaic Center serves at the crossroads of poverty and disability, where Jesus builds lives and breaks cycles. The Mosaic Center helps eliminate the spiritual, social, financial, and relational barriers to the lasting transformation found in Christ-centered community. The Mosaic Center is the local outreach center of Mosaic Church — a place where people in our community can come for GED tutoring, life skills training, support for children and young adults with disabilities, and most importantly, spiritual care. Mosaic Center houses GED services, The Pantry, TMC @ Maxwell House, and Exceptional Circles. For more information, visit our site at https://themosaiccenterevans.org/
  • The Pantry and Pathways
These are grace-filled resources for folks living at the Maxwell House and Freedom’s Path. The Pantry and Pathways is hosted by Bags & Hugs LifeGroup and ministry team. Every week this team not only serves but does discipleship together. After Bible study and prayer, they serve residents of Maxwell House and Freedom’s Path boxes of food and other supplies as a way of loving our neighbors in the name of Jesus.
  • The Mosaic Center at Maxwell House
TMC @ Maxwell House provides supportive services to the residents of Maxwell House, working one-on-one with individuals to help them get their needs met, reach their goals, and improve their lives. The amazing Veronica Jordan, our coordinator at Maxwell House, also promotes community and encourages faith through group Bible studies, food giveaways, community meals, and worship services.
  • Exceptional Circles
Exceptional Circles is a uniquely collaborative special needs ministry rooted in partnership between The Mosaic Center, Mosaic Church, Easterseals East GA, and The Center for New Beginnings. Through Exceptional Circles we help to provide weekday therapy for children with special needs, twice-monthly outings for young adults on the spectrum, and an outdoor inclusive playground open 7 days a week.
  • The Center for New Beginnings
TCNB is under our roof five days a week, and we work closely with them to provide support for families of those living with disability. TCNB provides applied behavioral analysis for children with disabilities.
  • Easterseals
Easterseals serves adults with disabilities and we work together with them to provide some of the most joyful and fun outings and gatherings for young adults on the spectrum. Each month, Life on the Spectrum hosts a gathering in the community (mini golf, bowling, etc), and a gathering at Mosaic (karaoke nights, dance parties, game nights, etc) where young adults 18-30 can gather socially in a safely supervised setting. Support for parents is also offered once per month.

  • GED Tutoring
GED Tutoring is the only free, customized, and self-paced adult (aged 18 and above) program in Columbia County. Every Monday and Wednesday (9a-noon) students gather in The Mosaic Center to learn and work toward their personal educational goals. This program is run exclusively through the good work of amazing volunteers, and is always searching for more great tutors to help.
